Richard Kohnke, Jr.

Attorney

Richard was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended both Hamilton College and UGA before graduating from Loyola where he earned his undergraduate degree in History. During his time in college, he played both basketball and football while maintaining his spot on the Dean’s List.

Following graduation, Richard worked in film and television for a decade before realizing he wanted to pursue his passion for helping people. After receiving his Juris Doctorate from Loyola and earning the title “Best Plaintiff’s Attorney” in law school, Richard became a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and began his work in the legal field. 

Richard joined the Dudley DeBosier family in 2022. His favorite part of his job is fostering client relationships and being the voice for those who don’t have one. His favorite quote is “You gotta fight,” by Willie Green.
