About Ross
Ross LeBlanc is a Louisiana trial lawyer who has spent his career representing injured individuals and families, not insurance companies. For 15 years, he has dedicated his practice to helping people whose lives have been changed by catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and insurance disputes.
Ross’s commitment to the justice system began long before he became a lawyer. As a teenager, he testified in court after a repeat drunk driver killed his aunt while she was on her morning jog. Witnessing the criminal justice system firsthand left a lasting impression on Ross and inspired him to pursue a career advocating for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
That commitment deepened after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita displaced Ross’s family from Chalmette to Baton Rouge. Like many Louisiana families, they experienced firsthand the importance of having someone willing to stand up to powerful insurance companies when everything has been turned upside down. Those experiences motivated Ross to become the first person in his family to graduate from college and ultimately pursue a career in law.
Today, Ross is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA), a nationally recognized distinction awarded to attorneys who demonstrate substantial trial experience, receive favorable judicial and peer evaluations, satisfy rigorous continuing legal education requirements, and successfully complete a comprehensive written examination. He is also a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College and has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus of Southern University Law Center.
Over the course of his career, Ross has obtained multiple jury verdicts and judgments for his clients, resolved hundreds of cases through mediation and settlement, and helped secure many seven-figure recoveries. He is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
In addition to representing clients, Ross is committed to serving both the legal profession and his community. He volunteers as a Hearing Committee Member for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board, helping uphold the ethical standards of Louisiana attorneys.
Ross also speaks to students about the legal profession and collaborates with the Sudden Impact Program, which educates young people about the consequences of impaired and distracted driving. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Tennessee and is an active member of the Louisiana Association for Justice and the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
Ross and his wife, Anne, live in Baton Rouge with their two sons, Lee and Gus. Outside the courtroom, he enjoys working out, reading, spending time with his family, and competing in recreational sports through the Baton Rouge Ancient Athlete Society.
