About Matthew

Matt is originally from Baton Rouge. He attended Louisiana State University where he earned his undergraduate degree in finance with a concentration in internal auditing. After earning his undergraduate degree, he went on to obtain his juris doctorate from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2005. While in law school, Matt received the CALI award for highest grade in Contracts. He served in the Student Bar Association as Executive Vice President, and was the Junior Class Representative in 2004. He was also involved with the Moot Court Board and Career Services Student Advisory Committee. Before joining the Dudley DeBosier team, Matt was the Assistant District Attorney of the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office from 2006 to 2011. In this position he worked as a homicide prosecutor and was lead counsel on over 100 jury trials.
