Although he was born in Baton Rouge, James Peltier Jr. grew up in Houma, Louisiana, where he graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School. The self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest LSU fan,” James moved to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University and continued his studies at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He received his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 1995, where he graduated cum laude.
James opened his own law practice in 1996 and worked in conjunction with several prominent Louisiana state representatives on both civil and criminal trials. In 1998, James brought his experience and aggressive attitude to Dudley DeBosier’s litigation department, where he fights for our clients’ rights to compensation.
