ReAzalia Allen was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in English. During her time at LSU, ReAzalia was a member of Collegiate 4-H, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and served on the University Hearing Panel/Student Conduct Board. She also received the LSU Distinguished Communicator Award and the Tom W. Dutton Service Award Scholarship.
Following undergrad, ReAzalia went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. During her time there, she served as the Student Bar Association’s Executive Secretary and the National Black Law Students Association’s Director of Communications. She was also a member of the ABA Arbitration External Team and the Trial Advocacy Board. ReAzalia also received the Sadie T.M. Alexander Award, was recognized as an LSU Law Faculty Scholar, and won the LSU Law Arbitration Competition.
Prior to joining the Dudley DeBosier family in 2022, ReAzalia gained years of experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at Southern University Law Center and serving as a Senior Staff Attorney at the 19th Judicial District Court. She is an active member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Louis A. Martinet Legal Society of Greater Baton Rouge, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Junior League of Baton Rouge.
ReAzalia’s favorite part of being an attorney is having the opportunity to help people who need it most. Aside from her time spent in the office, ReAzalia enjoys writing, baking, blogging, and trademarking. Her favorite quote is “To Thine Own Self Be True,” by Shakespeare.
