Phillip Prejean

Phillip was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he graduated from the University of Southern California with a Mechanical Engineering Degree in 2007. He then moved to Baton Rouge where he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate Degree from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Before joining the Dudley DeBosier team in 2019, Phillip gained experience as a Public Defender, as well as a Plaintiff Attorney in the Medical Malpractice field. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and has been practicing law since 2015. Phillip was awarded “Outstanding Contributions to Excellence in Advocacy Programs” as well as Vice President of Flory for the 2014-2015 year.

Phillip’s favorite thing about being an attorney is that he gets to meet new people and help them on a daily basis. He chose to be an attorney because he enjoys tackling interesting problems and having control over his work. In his spare time, Phillip likes lifting weights and going to the rifle range. His favorite quote is “Hope for the best, expect the worst. Life is a play. We’re unrehearsed,” by Mel Brooks.
