After receiving his undergraduate degree in history from Louisiana State University, Peter Ellis joined Dudley DeBosier in February 2012 as a law clerk. While clerking for the firm, Peter earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, where he graduated cum laude. He now serves as an associate attorney at our Baton Rouge office.
While at Southern University Law Center, Peter received CALI awards of excellence in Torts II and Federal Jurisdiction and Procedure. Additionally, Peter served as a teaching assistant for Torts II. He’s currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association, where he participates in membership activities throughout the regional area, including pro bono opportunities with Thirst for Justice.
Peter is admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in the State of Louisiana, including the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts, in addition to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Peter brings his specialized knowledge to our personal injury practice at Dudley DeBosier, where he concentrates in assisting his clients in auto accident and personal injury cases. His compassion, knowledge of the law, and dedication allow Peter to advance the best interests of our clients.
