Kevin Hernandez

Attorney

Kevin is from Lafayette and attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette to receive his undergraduate degree in psychology in 2009. He then obtained his juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center, graduating cum laude from law school and serving as senior editor of the Law Review. Immediately upon being admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2014, Kevin began working in private practice. Since that time, he also served as a public defender in the 15th JDC and as in-house counsel for an oil field contracting company. Being able to help others and having the opportunity to learn new things everyday are two things Kevin loves most about the work he does. Kevin feels being an attorney is a truly rewarding profession. It allows him to not only help others on a daily basis by being an advocate/counselor, but also provides him with endless opportunities for personal growth and achievement. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and playing on a local, recreational baseball team.

Kevin is also a proud member of the LSBA, Lafayette Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, and is admitted to the Western District of Louisiana.
