Legal Assistant Support Specialist

Kay grew up in Monroe, Louisiana, graduated from Wossman High School, and on to earn her Business Degree from Northeast Louisiana University. She had hopes to become a Business Teacher but after taking law-based classes, she knew she wanted to work in the legal field. She chose to continue her education at Northwest Louisiana University and became a member of the Northwest Legal Secretaries Association where she served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President. Apart from receiving the Legal Secretary of the Year Award, she also received the Outstanding Paralegal Student of the Year Award.

Kay began working as a legal secretary in 1980, and joined the Dudley DeBosier family in March of 2014. Outside of working at DDB, she spends most of her time with her 13 grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, reading, and designing plastic canvases for her family members. Her favorite quote is “For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness, “by Ralph Waldo Emerson.”
