Kara Colvin

Legal Assistant

Kara was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Prior to joining the Dudley DeBosier team in 2019, she gained experience as a Legal Secretary for a Defense Law Firm. She started her previous job with little-to-no experience but fell in love with the work. Kara never thought she would work in the field of law, but after she learned more about it, she wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!

Kara’s favorite part of her job is having the opportunity to assist her clients with their needs. Aside from work, Kara enjoys reading and traveling. Her favorite quote is “Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live,” by Johnny Depp.
