Born and raised in Bossier City, LA, David Shepherd attended Louisiana Tech University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in English. During his time at LA Tech, he was a Regents’ Scholar and held the honor of being on the Dean’s List. After graduating from LA Tech in 2014, David went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center as a member of the class of 2017, where he was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Scholar Scholarship and participated in mock trial competitions.
Prior to joining the DDB Team in 2018, David was a Judicial Law Clerk at the 26th JDC, worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Caraway at the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, and was an extern at the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s Office. David is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association, and the Shreveport Bar Association. In his spare time, David enjoys volunteering at Teen Court in Bossier Parish.
David chose to become an attorney because he wants to fight for the underdog and limit the injustices done, and he truly loves helping his clients get what they deserve.
