In Honor of Brain Injury Awareness Month, Dudley DeBosier Partners with Baton Rouge Area High Schools 

Dudley DeBosier, Official Injury Lawyers of the New Orleans Saints, Official Injury Lawyer of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, and an Official Partner of LSU Athletics announces partnership with the football teams at Liberty Magnet High School and McKinley High School in honor of Brain Injury Awareness Month. 

As an injury firm, Dudley DeBosier has first-hand knowledge of the devastating effects of brain injuries. Brain injuries most often occur as a result of blows to the head. Some of the most common events that result in TBIs include: 

• Sports Activities 
• Car Accidents 
• Slip and Falls 
• Military Combat 
• Workplace Accidents 

Unfortunately, concussions are a realistic danger facing high school football players. According to THIS ARTICLE published by KALB Sports, most high schools (particularly rural and inner-city schools) lack the funding to provide the same caliber of equipment used by pro and D1 teams to help combat the problem. 

To help alleviate the gap, Dudley DeBosier is partnering with these programs to ensure the safety of their football players. As part of the partnership, Dudley DeBosier is covering costs to have helmets properly inspected, reconditioned, and replaced, if necessary—something that has been challenging for these programs due to financial constraints. 

A huge part of Dudley DeBosier’s mission is keeping their community safe. Also, after years of partnering with some of Louisiana’s biggest football teams, it’s no surprise that they love sports. March is the perfect time for their mission to collide with their sports affiliations.
