Peter Ellis

Attorney

After receiving his undergraduate degree in history from Louisiana State University, Peter went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center, where he graduated cum laude. He began practicing law as an associate attorney in 2013.

While at Southern University Law Center, Peter received CALI awards of excellence in Torts II and Federal Jurisdiction and Procedure. Additionally, Peter served as a teaching assistant for Torts II. He’s currently a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Baton Rouge Bar Association, where he participates in membership activities throughout the regional area, including pro bono opportunities with Thirst for Justice.

Peter is admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in the State of Louisiana, including the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts, in addition to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Peter brings his specialized knowledge, compassion, and dedication to our personal injury practice at Dudley DeBosier, where he feels lucky to guide and represent clients through difficult times in their lives.
